Creating Performance-Based Tasks with Google Apps

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Using Google Apps, teachers can create, share, and grade performance-based tasks online as assessments, or as a part of a project or problem in the classroom. Examples include the creation and/or labeling of diagrams, maps, posters, or charts. Furthermore, performance-based tasks can emulate tasks in the PARCC and Smarter Balance Common Core assessments. For example, students can be provided with a grid or paragraph and asked to graph an equation, draw a shape, or underline key points of a paragraph in a Google Doc, Drawing or Slide.
